KAVRE: Communication and Information Technology Minister Gyanendra Bahadur Karki has emphasized the need to develop skilled youths in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
Speaking at the first gathering of Parvati Multipurpose Campus in Bethanchok Rural Municipality, Minister Karki said that since today’s era is the era of ICT, it should attract the youth to this sector.
Stating that skilled youths with quality education, have been making handsome earnings, he opined that certificates should be powerful so that holders can utilize them for personal benefits and for the benefits of society.
On the occasion, Chairman of Bethanchok Rural Municipality Bhagwan Adhikari and senior journalist Parashuram Ghimire also underlined the need to encourage youths to the ICT sector.
In the program, Constituent Assembly member and former state minister Kanchanchandra Wade Shrestha, Constituent Assembly members Krishna Prasad Sapkota, Ramhari Subedi, and Tirtha Lama, educationist Dr. Balram Timalsina and others discussed the role played by Parvati Campus for the development of education in the southern part of Kavre.
