Secretary of the Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources of Bangladesh, Mohammad Habibur Rahman is in Kathmandu leading the Bangladeshi delegation, for the Secretary-level Joint Steering Committee (JSC) for Nepal-Bangladesh power trade. On the eve of the meeting scheduled on the 24th -25th of August, Rahaman observed the Tamakoshi-3 hydropower project site in Ramechhap on Tuesday. Senior officials of the Nepal and Bangladesh governments also visited the project site. Local people had offered a grand welcome to the visiting team on the bank of Tamakoshi River. Bangladesh is promoting the 683 MW Sunkoshi-3 MW project.
