Minister Bhusal emphasizes on united voice for development

LALITPUR: Minister for Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation Pampha Bhusal emphasized the need to work unitedly to move forward with development works for the economic transformation of the country.

 Inaugurating the “Pako Park ” in Lalitpur’s Godawari Municipality-12 Thecho on Sunday, Minister Bhusal said solidarity among all citizens in development issues was vital to achieving desired development.

 “Different parties reach to the people with different pledges through election manifestos during elections. However, we must form one voice regarding development and be united in development issues,” said Bhusal.  She expressed confidence that the newly built park would help bring change in the lifestyle of the local residents.

 “This park which is built for the convenience of local people including slum dwellers should be properly protected and used. The local people are responsible for the proper protection and enjoyment of this park,” Bhusal further said.  The park was constructed as a basic infrastructure for physical fitness targeting local people spending around Rs 7.5 million.

 Bagmati Provincial Assembly member Rajkaji Maharjan said that an appropriate arrangement of CCTV and electricity will be made so that the park can be used 24 hours a day. Jagat Bahadur Maharjan, Chairman of Godawari-12 said the federal and provincial governments provided the necessary support for the construction of the park.
