KATHMANDU: Chiranjeevi Chataut has been appointed the Director General of the Department of Energy Development (DoED). Chataut was the joint secretary of the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation. He has already served as the Assistant Chief Executive Officer of Pancheswar Development Authority and has long experience working at DoED and the Ministry. Sandiv Dev, who was the Director General of the DoED, has been transferred to the Ministry.
