USA (California):- Youth UNESCO Club USA, which is conducting youth-centered creative works in California, USA, has nominated Manoj Basnet, a communicator, as an international media advisor.
“As a seasoned media person Basnet has a very good relationship with international-level media, we are pleased to appoint him as the club’s international media advisor,” said club president Rimesh Khanal.
Basnet has been active in the media industry in Nepal for the last 15 years taking up vital responsibilities. He started his media career as a district reporter of Kantipur Media Group – Nepal’s largest media house and is currently the head of its Sales and Distribution Department.
He holds comprehensive knowledge in news reporting, sales and distribution, marketing, corporate strategy, business analysis, performance management, revenue, and cost optimization, brand management, and business development, among other critical components of media management.
For the last 10 years, the Club has been running creative programs in the state of California for the development of youth. The president of the club, Khanal, said the Club’s activities will be expanded across America and youth-centric programs will be conducted around the world.
